Leg 1 · International

Vienna → Bangkok

VIE → BKK
Leg 2 · Domestic

Bangkok → Phitsanulok

DMK → PHS

Tip: leave at least half a day between landing at BKK and your domestic flight from DMK — you'll need time for immigration, the shuttle, and check-in.

Changing Airports, For Free

Bangkok's two airports are connected by a free shuttle bus for anyone with a same‑day or next‑day onward flight — exactly your situation between the international and domestic legs.

Free of charge
Runs 5:00 – 24:00 daily
Every 15–30 min
Journey takes ~50–60 min

Clear immigration & collect luggage

After landing at Suvarnabhumi (BKK), go through passport control and baggage claim as normal. You'll end up in the arrivals hall on Floor 2 — that's where you need to be.

Head for Door 3

Ignore signs for taxis, public buses, and the train. Walk to Door 3 in the arrivals hall — there's a small shuttle desk just outside it, staffed and clearly marked.

Show your onward ticket

The staff will ask for your passport and proof of your connecting flight (an e-ticket or boarding pass works) for that day or the next. They'll note your name and you're free to board.

Ride the shuttle to Don Mueang

The bus is free, air-conditioned, and has space for luggage. It runs along the expressway and takes roughly 50–60 minutes, though traffic or heavy rain can stretch that further.

Check in for the Phitsanulok flight

You'll be dropped at Don Mueang's Terminal 1. Head to check-in for your DMK → PHS flight as usual, then on to Phitsanulok — where we'll be waiting to bring you to Noen Kum.

In a real hurry or the shuttle queue looks long? A Grab or metered taxi between the airports runs roughly 300–450 THB and takes about the same time.

Landing at PHS

Renting a Car

Phitsanulok Airport (PHS) is small, with a handful of rental counters right in the terminal — the easiest way to get yourself to Noen Kum or a hotel on your own schedule. If you'd rather not drive, we're arranging pickups too — just let us know.

Pick up at Phitsanulok Airport

PHS · Phitsanulok Airport

There's no single site that reliably takes pre-filled dates for car rentals without an account, so this opens a search for current deals at Phitsanulok Airport for your dates — compare a couple of results before booking. An international driving permit is required to drive in Thailand.

Getting to the Venue

Noen Kum is rural, so a GPS pin is far more reliable than an address. Drop this into your maps app once you're on the ground, or get directions straight from wherever you're starting.

Where to stay

Book a Room

Noen Kum itself is a small farming village, so there's no hotel on the doorstep — and Sak Lek, the nearest town, doesn't have one either. The closest bookable rooms are about 15–20 minutes away in Phichit town, or a little further in Phitsanulok city, which has the widest choice.

Sak Lek itself has no hotels to book online — these are the nearest real options, all a short drive from the village. We'll also try to arrange a few rooms even closer for those who'd rather skip the drive.
